Hello everybody

After some oil leaks from engine breather that I have,I read some topics about that problem and I show a lot of ideas.The question because I confused is:does the restriction of breather from the air fiter box(frame) efects the engine performance?What happend whith the vacum?Do you have any sugestions of what method should I follow for fixing my new breather?Thanks for reading

Hi ,nice Greeks.... :D

The first time I show the oil leaking I thought that might be some hose clambs unscrew from the engine breather system because I had the valves adjusted before and I had removed the breather hose.So,I take it out I clean it and I mount it again.But in the next trackday I show oil spills in the engine again and it was from the same area again,the breather of the intake valves side.After that I started searching in older topcs about that and from that what I read I understand that lot of bergs have that problem and specially when engine operated in high rpms.The second hit was when I fall down in track day.Then when I dismound the air filter for cleaning I show oil in the filterbox that drained into the carburator :angry: .Its time to do something about that I thought.So now I restrict the intake valve area breather with an OEM bolt for oil screen as I read and I am thinking what to do.Maybe something like the factory supermoto team do as I show it from close with an external breather box or something like Dale Lineaweaver recommends with the air pump check valve.I dont know,do you have something to sugest?????

If you look in my gallery you will see a technical bulletin from Husaberg about what oil level you should be running. Have you seen that before?

It is normal to have some oil in the air box, but, if you run too much oil in the motor it will blow out into the air box.

The stock breather hose is not made of the best rubber, and if you overtighten the clamps you can easily cut the rubber, and the smallest cut will allow a lot of oil to leak out.

Also, make sure that the spigots and the hose clean and free of oil when you assemble them and tighten the clamps just until they are snug.

Εάν κοιτάξετε στη στοά μου θα δείτε ένα τεχνικό δελτίο από Husaberg για ποιο επίπεδο πετρελαίου πρέπει. Έχετε δει αυτού πριν; Είναι κανονικό να υπάρξει κάποιο πετρέλαιο στο κιβώτιο αέρα, αλλά, εάν τρέξετε πάρα πολύ πετρέλαιο στη μηχανή θα εκραγεί στο κιβώτιο αέρα. Η μάνικα διαλειμμάτων αποθεμάτων δεν αποτελείται από το καλύτερο λάστιχο, και εάν οι σφιγκτήρες εσείς μπορεί εύκολα να κόψει το λάστιχο, και η μικρότερη περικοπή θα επιτρέψει σε πολύ πετρέλαιο για να διαρρεύσει έξω. Επίσης, σιγουρευτείτε ότι τα βύσματα και η μάνικα καθαρά και χωρίς πετρέλαιο όταν τους συγκεντρώνετε και σφίγγετε τους σφιγκτήρες ακριβώς έως ότου είναι άνετοι. θα με ενώσετε στο σαλόνι ή το δωμάτιο συνομιλίας έτσι μπορούμε να μιλήσουμε για το;

I saw your gallery before but I heard about that yesterday from a guy in my dealer shop in Athens.He told me that factory now recomends 900 ml of oil.Althow I know that this is well known for most of bergers.My mechanic told me that when I bought my bergie one year before.In details talk me about 900 ml of oil when I change oil together with oil filter and approx 850 ml for changing only the oil.The problem is that I check the oil level,I tight the hose clams and I double checked the hose for any cuts in the rubber.The truth is that after the hose cleaning and tighting the oil leaking was less but steel have some leak.Also is the problem of carburator when you fall down.

I dont know,maybe I am thick-head.... :D
