Since i've bought myself a new toy :D

the old supermoto will be 'retired' as an enduro machine. I've bought a set of old ktm wheels on ebay, but got ripped of since the back is 20mm axle wich fits perfect, but the front wheel is a 17mm axle wich has also the wrong offset. Apparantly the front wheel comes from a 97 KTM 300 ex, is there a kit available, to change the bearings/spacers to husaberg size? If not is having the husaberg supermoto hub relaced to the ktm enduro rim an option? I can have this done for less than 100 euro, so pricewise would be the cheapest. Just don't know if the supermoto hubs are the same strength as enduro ones.

i have the big axle stuff here on a wheel. you can have the bearings and seals out of that but PM me and we'll make sure that it all measures up first.

regards

Taffy

Bearings and seals from a 26mm hub/wheel won't go in that old wheel. There is no kit and no combination of bearings that will work.

You need to get the right hub and wheel.

Is using the stock husaberg supermoto hub with the spokes and rim of the enduro wheel an option?

Does anyone have a old 20mm stock husaberg hub wich is for sale?

Taffy, compared the bearings from the enduro wheel with the bearings from the supermoto wheel and are completely differint, inside and outside diameter as well as thickness. Also th eoffset for the disc brake isn't the same.

Belgique,
You need a 26mm front hub--any KTM or Husaberg hub or wheel from 2003 up will work.

As far as using the enduro wheel rim laced to your Husaberg hub--it should work as long as your rim has 36 spoke holes. I don't think the old spokes will work, but I haven't tried that on a wheel that old.

Husaberg before 2004 need 20mm axle size hubs.

It does have 36 spokes, so I'll probably end up using the old hub with the enduro rim.

I'd rather keep my supermoto wheel, so if someone has a 20mm axle size hub for sale, let me know.

Regards, Christof.

I thought you were looking for dirt wheels for the SM in the picture. I understand now.

Here is a whole new problem I ran into, and you will too probably. The spokes rub on the Caliper for the 21 inch rim. I put the KTM 21inch rim on, as soon as you start to tighten the Axel (even before that it just becomes worse) the spokes rub very hard on the inside of the Beringer FTE 4 Piston Caliper. What can I do to fix this in a cheap way?
