Electrex stator?

Rebility! delivery?

Perhaps they are better than SEM stators, but if they can`t deliver in 4-6 weeks it`s crap.
Bougth a used SEM stator instead of an new from Electrex becuse of the long delivery time.
And when the Husaberg account is full again i`ll send may old stator to Sparks for rewinding and hopefully get it back in a week or so!

With best regards.

RE: Rebility! delivery?

Having recently purchased an Electrex stator ST5410L for my Husaberg, I was very impressed with the next day delivery (compared this to sending my old unit to some bloke in spain & getting the same one back with a dubious repair job)

An added bonus is that the Electrex stator can be connected with a 3 phase output, and with an additional 3 phase regulator rectifier also purchased. It has provided more than enough power for the accessories fitted on my bike.

RE: Rebility! delivery?

We don't have a distributor in the US at the moment. Any parts can be purchased directly from ourselves by going to our website or by fax, email or telephone and the stators are in stock ready for delivery.

Electrex World Limited

I bought a sparks stator for my bike and I 100% recommend getting one. Transformed my bike, has made it ridiculously easy to start even when hot. Sparks even had the new rewound stator in the post to me before I had mine out of the bike to send to him (opposite sides of the world you see) just to save on postage time. I am very happy with the service.

tom
dont touch a rewound stator nothing but trouble .The electrex stators are fantastic i have fitted these stators to three of my bergs. never had a problem.sparks has had stators returned .
There service is fantastic. No waiting for your stator to arrive at sparks then waiting to get it REPAIRED and hoping the uninsured mail will return it. i know of one that never made it back. the new stator is sent with a tracking number so you know where it is.

look patrick or tom or whatever you call yourself

Taffy, sorry to tell you this but he could be telling the truth.i have sent four rewinds back to sparks and they were all so called mechanical damage. may be two but four, come off it . I told him that one was installed only using the torque settings husaberg recomend and sparks told me put the wrench back in the tool box. I have got three with him at the moment(returns all but one) but have decided to leave them with him as i am going to try oyks idea with some help from a elctrical engineer.so may be you should PHug off your self and let sparks have his say.

well i'll tell you what (what!) if you can find anyone else on this board who has had direct troubles with sparks work i'll apologise to you.

how's that?

but if you're the first person to say that you have had a problem then that makes you wrong!

i still maintain that these guys are using ******** names and spurious bikes they don't have etc. and anyway, what's the point in allowing someone to join UHE and in their first post they're slagging someone whose integrity we already trust? i mean what's the point in that?

For those not savvy, the TomD(the gent calling others dubious) and electrex posts came from the same internet connection & computer.

I'm going to get my popcorn. Don't start without me.

thanks,

Geeze TomD, why did you ship it when you could have walked to the parts rack and pulled it off the shelf yourself? [-X

Uh oh!

On a personal note:

I can say that it was nothing but easy to send sparks my stator, and have it back with out issue; and there hasn't been a hint of trouble with it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his stator services to anyone.

Eletcx/Tom/dave/joe/ Fu*knuts/ whatever you want to be now,
Take you noob whinie snake oil crap some where else. If you havent guessed by now we are a close group on this site even though it has grown we still know each other. Both on site and a bunch of us fromn all over the world have met in person. If you are for real then your business practices alone keep me from buying anything you have. Why do you think it will help you to come in here and bash a member that has helped many here for several years.

Ya sh*t in your hat for me, so as my bud from England says Phque off mate.

Jason

As always the UHE is good for a morning laugh

If the Electrex stator is such a wonderful piece of engineering why in the world would they resort to such sleezy tactics?

Answer....its not

The problem with stupid idiots like those found at the Electrex company is that they cannot imagine anyone being smarter than themselves. Hence their child like games.

Stick with Sparks

Electrix, as you have read, we are a tight community here, and for you to come in and try to slander one of our outstanding members, has truely been considered an insult to our FAMILY of Berg owners. Being a small community if Sparks was performing substandard work, we would have known long before you came along!

In reguards to nzberg having to return 4 stators for mechanical failures, then I would think that there is something that you are doing that has caused the failures. I find it hard to believe that one of us would have four bad stators and not post our displeasure about that here first. Isn't it funny that we do not here anything about that untill this post.....HMMMMM...maybe you are buddies with ElecTRIXs.

Sad way to gain a customers trust, IMHO

Found this on another forum. No wonder they are so quick to attack perceived competition.

Don't use Electrex or Electrosport (same company). I'm involved in another group that has a few people each year who has to replace their stator. Last year every one of their stators didn't fit, were DOA, or only last a few hundred miles. Electrex used to be a great stator but they've been having serious QC issues over the past two years.

Get either oem or rewound. I have a rewound stator from Willie's Cycle which has over 2000 miles on it and is still going strong. I know a couple other people who have one as well and I haven't heard of any issues. Prices will vary base on application but mine was $120 + $30 core.

Friends, trust friends.

I didn't go for the Electrex because of their past reputation and the price. Rewinding a stator is/was not that difficult. There's a lot of good info around the net and with some patience it can be done at home. With some good luck, the outcome is not worse than the broken original... Mine is still working beautifully.
