I own a couple of KTM's, an LC4 640 Enduro and a 625 Supermoto, both street legal. I am interested in the Husabergs and am trying to learn about them but I need some help.
What does the pre-fix FS and FE and the suf-fix c, e etc. mean? I saw an FS 650c in an online photo and it looks like the S might be for supermoto and the c maybe competition because it doesn't have lights but the pic of the e has lights so maybe the e is for enduro? I saw a picture of an actual FS 650c for sale but it had the lights that looked stock, but maybe they were added by the owner. A bit confusing to me.
This 650 had destroyed a main bearing (2006 model) and was repaired under warranty. Are the 650's something to avoid? What years were they made? Any comments on the 650's in particular?
I know that the 650 is not the ultimate for woods or track, and neither are my KTM's, but I need something big enough for street duty also as I cannot afford a bunch of specialized motorcycles. I must comprimise. I could see myself trading some orange for some blue if it made sense to do so.
Thanks for the patience of anyone who is kind enough to respond to my many questions.
Best Regards,
Terry
