ECU Reflash - Who can do it?

Hey folks,
After cruising the forums it seems that a good improvement for my bike would be to get the "competition map" on my ECU, especially since I have an aftermarket pipe. I have a 2010 FE570. Is there any dealer out there that can take my ECU and reflash it? Everyone I talk to wants the entire bike. I have no dealers around that can do it. I am in New Brunswick, Canada but willing to ship from the US. Thanks!

Hey there, the reason they need the whole bike is because the Computer used to flash the ecu is attached to a auxillary cable on the bike, and not attached to the ecu itself.

But If I think you should be able to switch between soft/aggressive maps via the map switch, which I believe should be standard on the bike?

It wasn't a problem when dealers had the bikes on the showroom, you could send the ECU and they'd swap it into a demo bike, hook up their xc1, and presto reflash completed. Might pay to reach out to a few of the bigger berg dealers ?

this only applies to the ignition mapping,i think he's talking about fuel mapping.
 
Did you try toys for big boys in Moncton ? husaberg / husky dealer
 
Yeah, fuel mapping. I tried Toy's and no one really knew what I was talking about - but they promised to call me back - but never did. I was kind of hoping to attract one of the dealers on this site.

Ive never been to Toys ... i use freedom Cycle in Halifax they mapped my FE390 when i installed a akrapovic and header.. before that.i had a ton of backfire on decal ..had a lean condition tried reseting the computer after the install to see if it would relearn but no ..its great now ..

One question you guys have me wondering about now is ...did they fuel or ignition map ??
 
Hey fowlerrudi I was just looking at this thread http://husaberg.org/supermoto/17337-fs-570-2010-ecu-map-how.html and tommytherocker sent his away to Gunnison motorsports. From what all indications on this forum ( I personally dont konw or have had anything to do with Gunnison Motorsports I'm just trying to help you get your ECU reflashed) the proprietor, Fritz, is a great guy and is really involved in the Husaberg community in N.A. Might be worth a try
