can anyone who has bought an eccentric brake cam tell me if they are happy with the product and whether I made them big enough for the job?

maybe the SM boys especially would like their brake levers even lower?

well that one was 2mm bigger but I'll make the next one 2mm more again I think.

It's amazing, I NEVER get a single piece of feedback on the jetting kits, sledge mod, EBC, plug, starter mod kit. I mean nothing, not a sausage.

but thats people for you. I recently gave someone tons of help and maybe 15 PMs as I helped him get his jetting right. anyway I said in the end he needed another needle. He was appalled that I wanted paying for the next needle.

I beg to differ sir

Took a gamble and fitted the jets ( 165 main 38 pilot and the supplied pilot screw and jet and needle) and limtited the pump duration. Straight up it starts easy as, the backfiring on back-off has COMPLETEY vanished. I settled on 1 3/4 turns on the pilot screw. Bottom end is sharp and crisp, midrange is maybe a little better but the transition into top end is smoother ( as in it keeps pulling ) Top end is noticably stronger, 5th is like a new 4th and at extended hi rpm there was no noticeable heat build up . I would like to beef up the mid range a little so I will raise the clip one slot or maybe go for the 160 main and leave the needle alone. Does this sound right ?

you should try the 160 main and only worry about your top end power. if it's flat then go back. if you have the R&T kit you can fit a blanked little jet i supplied. then try the needle clip in the above and below clip position.

PS. i don't have many customers tell all! glad i ground off the needle codes now.

Yeah I got 1 off ya and it's seems OK for me so far.
Still got a bit of adjustment left. Got the lever set just below the horizontal.
Only rode it once after I put it on and then took it apart to do a bit of a rebuild.
I'll let you know more after a few more rides.

This confuses me. What was your point for grinding off the needle code?? Why shouldn't the jetting be privy to anyone? You consistently give jetting advice here on the forum via posting, in the 'doc', etc. Why hold back jetting information by grinding off needle codes?

since the doc was done I have subtly moved on a little further with the jetting. it was done three years ago don't forget and I don't do anything to the doc now.
