Just put in valve springs in my FS650 2004(without removing head) now wont start on e start ,but will if you kick it over. E start sounds like it is turning over with decomp lever pulled in but wont if you dont pull lever in. This only started after first ride after valve springs went in any idea's? maybe auto decomp is not working? or could it be manual de comp not adjusted correct? 8O

AUSBERG has good advice. You may take a peak ath the decompression device as well.
For what its worth, I had an 04 650 that would never turn over without first cheating it with the manual decompressor first. It was like that from the day it came out of the crate.

Think i have found it looks like the auto decomp spring has snapped (these are preloaded correct?) dont think they should let the auto decomp float on the end of the cam . Looks like auto decomp shaft is bent aswell anyone seen that before?
