Hi, quiet often during a deep wading the bike will stall and refuses to start again. Drag it out of the gloop  and have a cup of tea and she will start:)
Anyone else had this problem ? I expect its electrical.

Hi,

Can be that carb ventilation pipes are filled with water, try to run them up somewhere (only ventilation pipes, not overfill pipes).
I run them under tank up to steering head.

hell or high water

inspect or replace your spark plug wire. Had one arcing to the radiator during water crossings. Same symptoms. between wire and plug cap you can check for corrosion. Snip a bit off the wire and rescrew. I also put caulking around the connection. But the wire may be bad.

I always suspected that it was from the engine or sensors (O2 or coolant temp) cooling so quickly it confused the ECU. ECU probably see's the temp drop and immediately richens up and loads the bike up. That and the super dense intake air caused by steam coming off the engine.
Just my theory, nothing much to back it up.
