Hi all, and happy new year.
It's been a while since I posted something, I'm rebuilding an old FE400 and was wondering if it's possible (and worth!) installing the dual valve spring kit, as I've had to replace two tulipped intake valves. Note I'm using the stock cam.

Cheers

RE: DVSK on

well the kit will fit in for sure and you won't have tuliped valves again. nor will you get through a good camchain or cam follower bearings.... just the right hand inlet needs a little metal out on both the head and the rocker cover while in the rocker cover i was cautious and took out a little on both inlets.

Thanks Taffy.
On another note, I installed a pair of new follower bearings as the pins proved to be quite worn.
Strange thing is that as I'm turning the new rollers with my thumb, they seem to stick a bit, needing slightly greater force to get past that point of "stickyness". That point is random btw, and this may occur after turning them around 5 times or 20, doesn't matter.
Is this normal? I didn't put any oil before passing the pins through though, but I dipped them in oil and turned them a few times..

i file the inside walls of the forked rocker till the troughs have disappeared. i don't care how wide that makes the fork; a trench =a trip.
