hi what is the best spring kit to get and where can i get it from for my fe 550

Taffy makes a kit (he will weigh in on this within 8 hrs). - Easy to get, Taffy's the king.
DVSK kit. - Don't know where to get... nevermind... any KTM dealer sells them as ATV springs.
Kibblewhite springs. - Not to offend Taffy, but these are highly praised.

Most popular aftermarket seems to be Kibblewhite.

KTM quad valve springs. Got them on both of mine with no issues.
