This new Superquadro Mono Engine was based on the twin-cylinder version designed for the 1299 Panigale.
And the specs for this new engine are impressive! Some highlights from their recent announcement:
- For a single-cylinder road engine, power output is an impressive 77.5 HP
- When equipped with a racing exhaust, power output increases to 84.5 HP
- Remarkable maximum revolution speed of 10,250 RPM
- Incredibly short stroke of 62.4 mm, resulting in a bore/stroke ratio of 1.86
- Requires checking and valve clearance adjustment every 18,000 miles
