DS equipment on 04 FE

Comming from a KTM EXC I understand the fine line that these bikes walk on as far as street legal goes.

My question is. What type of DS equipment should I expect to see on a new to me 04 FE.

One of my first rides with this bike will DS ride with some road sections. I will need to have lights and turn signals on the bike for this ride.

And if I need to buy a kit. Which kits are you guys using? I am hoping not to spend $500.00 on a kit.

i''m not sure if this is what you are asking, but all i did on my '04 fe was to add a brake lite switch ($19), 12v horn and button ($15), convex mirror inside the handguard ($2), license plate, and in az i'm legal. nobody else i ride with uses a horn, i just use it to aggravate them.

Is the brake light swtich a Berg part? Or aftermarket? One my KTM I had to go to Enduro Engineering for parts like that.

I'm looking to do about the same as you did. I went on a DS ride today. I was reminded of what happens to blinkers on those types of rides.
