Hi,
I'm looking into adding quick disconnect fittings to both fuel taps of my 04 FS 650 for convenience in removing the tank rather than destroying the ends of the fuel hose everytime I take the tank off, I'm just worried that they may restrict the flow in a gravity fed carb system. Don't want to risk starving the bowl of fuel and running lean at WOT.
I can see how the dry break connectors would work well on anything with a fuel pump to push through the fitting, but not sure if it would flow well enough with only gravity.
Has anyone found or used a dry break connector on a gravity fed system?
Cheers guys
