Drive shaft bearing cb/cam chain/wp

What bearing do you guys use for the balancer drive shaft?

OEM is 6905 J1LLUC3

The bearing agent has informed me that this is a 'special' bearing rated for higher speed, and he cannot supply that bearing.
Also, there is no 'normal' 6905 C3 sealed bearing he can supply me with.
He can only supply me with a 6905 DDU bearing with steel seal.

So I'm wondering, why the additional speed rating, is the higher speed rated bearing also of a higher load rating,is it used because of the load of the counter balancer? Or would the load from the valve train still be enough to warrant a higher rated bearing?

Since I won't be running the cb, and have DVSK, would the 'vanilla' 6905 bearing be sufficient?
I can just order the OEM bearing, I just don't want to wait 3 more weeks for it.

I also saw in the doc, 619052RS is the bearing for the job. I didn't ask for that bearing at the agent, I didn't see it until I got home... I will phone tomorrow.

But, I was just wondering what everyone else uses?

Cheers

I use the Orangeberg bearing for the balancer shaft.

Straight up KTM for the cam bearing.

Couldn't tell what the numbers are for the Orangeberg bearing, but I've had no troubles at all with his kit.

Interesting that when you just Google that bearing it comes up as a KTM wheel bearing. Same bearing but 2 separate applications and part numbers.

ive used standard bearing with rubber seals in emergency in my bike

they are a bit tight really should be c3 but it does work

high speed rating not needed IMHO

rubber seals are better than shielded, keeps debris out

619052RS

this is another code number for the same bearing. the 2rs stands for 2 rubber seals.
the 1 is therefore the only new number in the bearing code and i don't know why it is done but it is!

this bearing is known as the "intermediate inner" bearing. I believe the Orangeberg bearing is for the waterpump and therefore the "outer" bearing. so a mistake there?

regards
