downpipe header to middle

need info again lads please.

what's the I.D. of the downpipes on the old FE600. i'm trying to see if there is an ID of 30mm out there which sits between the 450/550 (28mmm ID) and the 650 downpipes (32mm ID).

next question is for 650 owners.

if the ID of the 650 pipes is 32mm is the OD just 34mm? because husaberg only quote the one middle pipe used by all models yet i know that the ID into the middle pipe is 2 x 34mm.

am i right in saying that the 650 downpipes are wafer thin?

i did! and my question should be at the foot somewhere!

he says that it starts at 32 and goes down to 28mm. so that's that one sorted.

that leaves all the 650 riders out there.....

i did ask said 600 owner, and if it had been good i would have bid but i didn't ask the man with the entire 650 system. that's what you lotta galley slaves are for!

the difference between the 450/470/550 pipe at 28mm ID and the 650 pipe at 32mm ID is far greater than the 4mm as a percentage would suggest. as CSA,thge difference is huge and if i do try 650 downpipes on the 400 it'll be;

A) coz it's getting well tuned
B) they were bought cheap enough to have a go!

cheers simon. did you spot the downpipes and the middle selling seperately-finished on wednesday? tried to name his price at E40 and E60 but no bidders.
