Just got a little package in the mail from the Down Under bretheren, wasn't I suprised to find not the two shirts I was looking for, but three ! and two beer coolers! Big THANK YOU to Ozrider and the Boys, you guys are the real deal, so stoked to be wearin' my shirt. I will tote it along on a ride and get a picture from a remote location sort of a "Shirt Seen Round The World" thing. Please keep posting on the Force Ride 2008 want to see that at the top of the page. Good on ya mateys.

Later
Ron
P.S. Mick check your paypal

G'day Stoveguy,

Wildman went out on a bit of a limb financing the shirts and holders. It was great that the Berg community outside Oz took some which meant that we could all get one. I plan to wear mine to Canada and Europe, Scandanavia and the UK, later this year so they will get seen around a bit.

Thanks to Wildman and Ozrider for arranging the delivery and sorting the $s, and thanks to all who acquired them.

Cheers
Steve

G'Day Stoveguy,
Great to see the system works. Ditto to all that Steve has said. Lets hope we see some of you guys downunder for next years ride. Keep an eye on the Aussie 2008 Force Ride thread. We will get the location sorted soon hopefully. Looks like the date will be the week after Easter at this stage.

Cheers :D
Garry.

T Shirts

Still have 4 shirts and some coolers left........ seems as though some that placed orders have changed their mind  !!! But no drama plenty people around like that. The upshot is, if anyone missed out and wants a shirt or cooler let me know and I will send them on.

Ron, Fraser and Jason, payment has been received, Thanks guys.
Oh, and Burnman, I havent forgotten you mate, just been really busy...... No, truth be known I really am just a slack arse, yours went this morning so apologies for the delay.

RE: T Shirts

G'Day ozrider,
Shame you couldn't make it to Louee mate. It was a great get together and I just really enjoyed the whole event except for the "stick" incident !!!! I shall check with Orangeberg, he may have some takers for a shirt and cooler.

Cheers
Garry

Thanks Garry,
Ye still a bit disappointed about missing Louee, but the next one will be on us before we know it so looking forward to making that one.

Speaking of rides, Will pick up my new bike on Saturday, have entered the Aus Safari so I have plenty to do in preparation for that one too. But cant wait, about 80 days to go.
Hope to catch up with you over there too Gazza if you are reading this

Great to hear ozrider, it will be good to have another Berg along on the event. Let me know if you need any help re set up.

My 650 is now almost Safari ready, should be complete in about a week, then its off on a training shakedown run we have set up over here with about 350km of safari roadbook notes & trails to practice the navigation skills. Its all very well riding fast if we cant navigate fast as well !!

Good luck guys. You will have a hoot. We loved watching the Safari when it used to start and finish here in Bathurst. We will expect a full report posted from you when you finish or should I say "win".

Cheers
Garry.

Ah... Garry,
I will be too busy taking photos and writing notes for my report to worry about winning...... or then there is this explanation

I am under no illusions as to my riding ability :( which means I will at no stage be challenging for the lead. My goal as a first time privateer is to finish and pick up the medallion :D . That will be an achievment

Mick

Ha ha, yes well after seeing what pace they ride at in these events I guess it is a bit of an ask to expect you to ride, navigate and take photos all at the same time !!!! Good luck Mick, enjoy the experience and finish the event. You will be a winner in just achieving that.
Cheers
Garry.
