Picture this, saturday afternoon, dry roads, ZX10 trying to play, stuffed him on the inside going into a roundabout, then blatted out and past the traffic, hit top gear then.............
Nothing, engine detonated, no drama just dead. Clutch in, coasted into a lay by, stepped off the bike. Generator case smashed. Right we are not going anywhere so rung my mechanic who came and picked me up.
Got the bike back home where he whips off the generator case to view the carnage. Generator totally kapputt :cry:
But it gets worse, I've got about 8mm-10mm play on the end of the crank at the flywheel side. :cry: :cry: Not sure whats gone yet, but it looks like mains failure or maybe snapped crank.
