Does anyone offer an upgraded wiring harnes for the Bergs?

My 04 needs help. Wires are braking. I am not all that happy with the factory stuff.

I have a trail tech stator on it. And would just love to buy a new complete harnes. One that is better than the OEM.

Uhm, no offense but by chance at the stator leads or charging system wires breaking?

Hey Hair,

Have a look at this thread here: http://husaberg.org/index.php?name=PNph ... 316dae74cf

I followed Sparks advice and increased the wire size, but, went a few steps further and made my own loom using larger than necessary wire to keep resistance down, and higher voltage rated wire for abrasion resistance. Plus shrink wrap insulation to keep things tidy.

It took a couple of days in the shop but the end product was worth it. The hardest part was just finding all the parts to make it all come together. If you need any help let me know.

Why are wires breaking? Taffy ask

I am not sure. It is mainly happening upfront on the set of wires that goes to the brake light. My guess is that the connectors are viberating. I know that I am looking for a system with strain relief. I feel that I need to find a way to spread the movement of the connector over a larger section of the wire. This is because they are braking right were I crimp them.

my '06 does the same. never had the problem with the '03.

what i've ended up doing is putting a little drop of resin on the back of every wire connection so now they'rer never coming out!

just pull the connectors apart, if you do this until the resin is dried, or if the glue seeps thru the connector will be glued together
