Fry,
Here are a few comments.
From Dirt Rider magazine April 2007 issue;
"The bike only required regular servicing of the engine oil and cleaning of the air filter. We change the oil pretty often, every ride or two. Maybe it is too often, but the bike is still purring like a kitten."
"For the 24 hours of Glen Helen, we actually did some real prep on the bike". They spaced the muffler further out, added a Scotts steering dampner and had the stator rewound by Baja Designs to run a bigger light. They changed the oil, cleaned the air filter and replaced the rear tire.
Result: 3rd place in the Industry Class at the 24 Hours.
"And after a quick ride following the event, since all it needed was a rinse, I'd say the bike is running better than ever; it's just time time for a suspension service".
The KTM front wheel they used that had a new tire on it failed due to wheel bearing failure, not the stock Husaberg part.
