STOKE ON TRENT
Hi can anyone please give me any idea wot to flush out my engine with before i carryout a oil change , as i dont want to put fresh oil into a dirty engine any ideas ?

there is a fluid called engine flush. castrol do it for sure. you put it in, start it up and run for a minute and then let it all out!

PM if you're stuck.

I'd think twice about putting any of that stuff in a motor that has a clutch that shares the oil, but maybe it's just me.

A few quick frequency changes using cheap motor oil would be the way I would go.

oh and i forgot, it's called castrol flushing fluid. i used it after all my rebuilds. but i was running 'R' at the time and you just couldn't get the oil warm at home and rely on getting stuff out the engine.

well,

I think it doesn´t matter what brand of "engine flush" you use, as long as this product fulfills important points:
1) should be designed for Motorcycles (the car stuff can be way to aggressive and harm your seals)
2) the producer must guarantee that his product is making micro-particles out of the "internal dirt". If he can´t guarantee this,
big particles will be removed and can clock all your oil-lines... Done this do a car, I´d actually takes a while until you recognize
tthat your oil-lines are clocked...

Anyway, where I do live the Castrol stuff isn´t available - I use Motul Engine Clean Moto, a sit fulfills all the requirements above-
hope this helps?
