I can't believe no one has brought this up yet. Once again a nice write up by Jimmy and staff. Something to the effect of "this thing is trying to out last the hour meter" More importantly please read Jimmy's editorial, he is challenging all of us to get involved now! Our rights and freedoms are under attack, make no mistakes my friends we are at WAR ! I'm privledged to know many of the Desert Vipers out of Orange County, CA and I am on thier email list. The President Larry Engwall sends out email on almost a daily basis. Boys we are in trouble, in California you have Barbara Boxer trying to designate millions more acres as "wilderness" You have the OHV commitee made up of mostly "enviromentalists" that are robbing your green and red sticker funds for thier pet projects with no regard for the intended use of those funds. As Larry says "for every one lawyer we have they have thirty" While we are in our garages tuning and tweaking our bikes, they are at public meetings portraying us as hellions bent on running over all little creatures. When I get off here I'm contacting my local club the San Juan Trail Riders and getting involved in my local issues, then I'm joining the Blue Ribbon Coalition. Your right to ride is at stake.

You are very right in being alarmed, also you are correct in realizing that our passiveness is our second worst enemy behind the greens. Getting involved now is very important.

Best of luck

Get moving. Don`t let the greens take away your freedom.
It`s happened in the UK and it`s happening in France.
The land of the free should stay that way.

Many of my riding friends think it's okay to vote Democrat and were excited at their victories in the last election. They will be the first to ***** when they lose their riding "privileges". I'm not in love with Republicans or any politicians for that matter, but they are the lesser of two evils. I give what I can to BRC and the ASA, I don't think any of my off roading buddies even pay any attention to what's going on. My preaching falls on deaf ears!

Husky I'm with you I hate all politicians equally. There is no two party system in this country anymore. Take for instance Al **** who gets an Oscar for his BS movie and then pays more for electricity per month than my entire mortgage. Then justifies it by saying he "invests his money in green resource to reduce his "carbon foot print". What a load of crap that is ! I'm a fair guy but don't tell me how to save the planet when you don't have even one wind generator no photovotalic array at your house where the hell is his low voltage lighting. Talking out both sides of your mouth I say. We need to find away to get people with real jobs elected to Representative positions, I'd vote for someone that lives paycheck to paycheck I could careless what their party affiliation. I think if we stay abreast of the issues then make our voices heard every chance we get, we have to commit to being involved. If we are as passionate about keeping our access as we are about the make of bike we ride, we can be a force (pun intended) I know some of you guys are on KTMtalk and ThumperTalk bring it up it needs to be out there or we have no one to blame but ourselves. "We have met the enemy and they is us" Keep preaching Husky if you get through to even one person it's worth it

Get Involved!

Very well said!
We are in big trouble for sure with people like Boxer in control!
Get involve before it is to late!
Thanks for the wake up call as we all need it from time to time.
