Hi to you all just a little question about starter motors, i understand that the r6 starter turns the engine faster but as anybody tried a mitsubi sm 223 .12v 0.6kw starter.
as i have a honda cb 250 with this stater motor fitted i tried it on my 650 2002 berg with a very slight mod to the starter it fits ok missing the decomp wire on the kickstart, the only prob i have had is that the startor shaft has one more tooth than the standard berg one so was going to take the gear that the starter runs on to my local gear cutter( he as just cut all new gears for our works evo rally car ) to see if he can help, as anbody tried other mods ?
