Different rocker shafts/rocker on both FC550 '02 engines?

This is what i got out off my 2 FC550 '02 Engines.

The rocker shafts are totally different, en in 1 of the rockers there is a hole, witch the other one does not have?

rockers, 1 from engine #1 (upper) and other one from engine #2 (lower)
The other 2 rockers are identical :roll:

The shafts:
Upper 2 (small holes) are from engine #2 and the lower 2 are from engine #1 (bigger holes)

Why are they different and which do I use best in my rebuild??

One may be an early 02 (more like an 01) and a late 02 as their were changes.

You should use the updated 2003 rocker arm assemblies.

Thanks for the answer, but when comparing all off them with eachother i noticed an other difference between the rockers of engine #1
1 of the 2 rockers already has the smaller 'pin' (so this is a 2003 model already?). It has a more lighter color too:
Rockers off engine #1(different pins):

Rockers off engine #2 (the same):

So I only have to order 1 2003 rocker?

i'm curious what the sleeve is on the outside of the pin on the light colored rocker in the top picture?
and fwiw, its nearly impossible to tell the difference in the diameter of the early vs late pins unless you press them out and mic them.

Well i called the previous owner today, and he told me that 1 rocker was indeed replaced because off a bearing which was blown.

i'm gonna guess that a machinist rebored the follower brg hole and sleeved it due to the damage.
