Differences from Fe to FC
Compression rate Fe-12.5-1 FC 12.8-1
Does camshaft difference make a difference?
I would like help

you need to look up the parts list.

the FC would have had a 35mm ID ouytlet on the tailpipe wjile the FE had 25mm.
flywheel
ignition cover
pick up of the FC has 2 spacers under it.

I think they had the same piston?
I think they had the same cam

the valves would have been Ti tanium valves i reckon.

lots of blingy bits.

frmae wouldn't have a sidestand bracket.
minimum electrics

Taffy

6 speed transmission vs 4 for the FC

FCR MX39 carburetor vs 41 for the FC

Electric start vs kickstart only for the FC

Different tire sizes

I think the head is the same, and the difference of compression rate is due from different piston head... I think....
The valve on the FC are in titanium.
FC is 4 speed and without countershaft.
Chamshaft I don't know if is the same, I think the FC have to do a camshaft more "pushed", but I dont know...
On my FC 550 there is this camshaft:

Yes one of the big differences is even the compression rate, yes the cam trees is different from the FE models for the FC

Baixo

my compression rate is low, Want the bike with the maximum power, i have to buy the new piston. wanted to mess with fifty horses

My parts book shows no difference between an FC and an FE in;
camshaft
piston

there is a really small chance that the the FC stroke is 0.1-0.3mm longer creating a higher compression but I can't see it myself?

I had about 55bhp out of my 400 so having it out of a 450 should be a piece o' piss.
