Belgium/ beautifull bruges :-)
hello,
does anyone kow if there could be a difference in design between the exhausts made for a 450 to 550 and to 650?
i know the cilinder is higher on the 650 then on the 550.therefor ,since it rubs here and there,i'm assuming this exhaust is meant to fit on a 650 :(
problem is,i have a full EP exhaust line but it rubs the frame on the (inside) right header, and on the top of the clutch cover. other then that it would fit reasonably.

Normally they fit if its made correctly, there is a bit of flex in the joints and springs.
Even the old Arrows for 600cc-2000, kan get to fit to the 2001-2008, the only part that is diffrent is the attachment holes for the silencer, from ea year they make some changes in the frame.

Your system/headers might be tight welded and the bends could be to small as well.

Some time the middle pipe hits the tensioner for the camchain.

i think the diameter of the tubes are rather large and therefor they rub the frame and engine i guess.
for example, the remus of a friend of mine's 650 is slimmer...
