This 2002 501 has less than 10 hours on it if that and runs great other than flaming out when in the tight stull or just noticed today it will do it just after jumping it 10-15 feet 5-6 feet high then hitting the brakes going into 1st gear and turning around to go hit the jump again it will stall out on me but starts right back up with 2-3 kicks . I paid $2200 for it and the plastic was like new after knocking the dust off this thing. I just had to have it when I saw it . I felt like the price was pretty fair for the like new condition.I live in Alabma and hope to get it tagged for the street.

Other than that the bike has tone of power everywhere runs great and idles fine but the flame out / stalling out in first or second gear when in the tight stuff.
I also own a 2003 KTM 300 EXC and the Husaberg is much harder for me to go fast on in the woods. Will practicing on the Berg make me faster on the 300?
Do any of you have a 2 and four stroke bike and have the same problem with getting more worn out on the 4 stroke faster than the 2 stroke. It seems like they are worlds apart when in the woods riding them . Thanks for the great web site guys.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Once you get the carb straightened out you might find it's easier to ride.

2 different worlds ... the 300 and the 501 . the faster you ride the heavier bike the faster you will be able to ride the lighter one .
