Diaphragm accelerator pump

Hi,

Is it possible to use a diaphragm accelerator pump on a dirt bike?
I have only seen piston-type accelerator pumps.

Since it seems to be good for the functionality for a big four-stroke,
why isn't it used with the Dell"otro carb?
