Delorto carb set up on 600 fe

Hi all new on here just got my first Husaberg and it's a hoot only thing I wanted to do was set the Carb up what is the standard start setting on the air mixture screw On the carb and I can work from there :)it's 1993 model

Thanks mate that did the trick bike runs lot smoother now will take it out in weekend for proper test :)
 
Be sure to keep it filled properly with oil. Check it before every ride. The old Bergs use so much oil it is unbelievable. Also change the oil after every day of riding. Measure the oil coming out so that you will get a feel for how much it burns. Don't run out of oil and seize your motor or ruin the crank bearing.

You have been warned. There are no excuses. Don't come back on here and tell us that you fried the motor ;)

Yeah I herd that about old bergs it has fresh oil in it 10w50w Castrol it says it holds a 1 litre but I can ony get 900ml in the it comes out level screw ? :) it seems to be sweet the engine no smoke at all

The screw on the side cover that is used to check the oil shows the minimum level when you take the screw out. The max level is almost to the bottom of where the threads would be when you screw in the oil cap.

I give the old girl a stiff drink before every ride until she can't take it anymore and slobbers all over the side cover.

I am not insinuating that you should also commit such a vile act and force feed yours too but it seems to give me a little piece of mind.
 
Good to know I'll just add a wee bit more is that Castrol okay for it as read some were in a manual that it's 5w 50w and max 15w50w
