I have just fitted a brand new PHM 40 Dellorto carb to my Husaberg FC600 its exactly the same model that was on there previously, what i need to find out is, can i just fire it up and adjust the carb as i go??? :?:

ok so it's the same carb but with all the wrong bits inside? or all new correct bits inside? if it has the wrong spec inside you are totally waisting your time and need to get the right stuff for it.
if it's all new correct parts then yep start her, runn her and fettle her as you go!

yeah its all the same internals and i have taken bits of the old carb that i can use ie: the choke and breathers its the same size jet as the old one so i will give it a go this weekend
I have also just repaired and painted all the plastics, just need new decals any ideas??
i will post some images after the weekend
