Dellorto Tuning Guide

I have attached what seems to be a comprehensive guide to tuning. Might come in handy on my quest to tune my beast and get more petrol into the motor than out of the overflow.

Was looking in the Doc but not much info for 600's and the Dellorto.

Might be handy for older berg owners. Was thinking of upgrading to FCR but can't seem to find many and ones that are around seem pricey.

I have sens some other bits of info around so will keep you updated - if interested ?

that book has been around for over 25 years. nothing has changed i don't think. it's a guide and will teach newbies a lot.

however, the jetting for a 400, 500, 600 and 650 is all fairly similar and the doc has three excellent examples of carb settings.

the reason there may be no 600 settings is because people can't be bothered to get off their BIG FAT ARSES and go try the settings. if people don't test, don't test properly and aeven then don't write openly with their findings: well UHE is about as much good as a chocolate fireguard!

I wish that more users would give input to the doc - especially for different years/models. On the other hand a lot of people offer advice when you post a question. I also have a another pdf for dellorto carbs that is different to one posted above and seems to be worhtwhile. It was done in conjunction with Moto Tecnica magazine. Maybe the new one and the one I posted above should go in the download section ?? The new one is about 3 meg. The other option is for me to email it to interested members ? Awaiting directions from the powers that be :)

I just printed it up so I can take it home and try sort my berg out. I'll let ya know what I find.
