Dellorto Slide Cutaway "Baseline"

I'm a Husaberg newbie, but I'm already hooked. Never give up, never surrender....

I had Lineaweaver tune the inside jetting for my Dellorto 02' FE501E last week to 7K-10K feet (good job Dale!). But I should have had Dale "baseline" the carb cutaway slide and outside screws too for this altitude. I forgot to ask him to do so...my bad.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the slide cutaway "baseline" should be for cold starting at ~6K feet, or for that matter a 6K foot cold start "baseline" for the air/fuel and idle screws on the outside the Dellorto. I have removed the auto-decomp to optimize the start, so now the kick start feels like a normal, big-bore four-stroke (thanks again Dale!).

If I can get a good "baseline" on those items I'll bet I can get his 501 to pop up.

Got the Moab trip next week....nearing desperation......

i can't see what you're on about myself. the sldie is set to the speed of idle which i believe is 1,800rpm.

the fuel screw is then adjusted. while you were there and you spent your dollar, i'm sure dale would have given you some advice on it.

High Plains FE,
There is a guy you can find here his nik is buzzard he lives outside Montrosa, CO near Grand Junction. He is good with the carburetion and knows that Dell inside and out. If it still has got you, you might PM him and stop in he is on the way to Moab. When a bike comes out of "The Buzzard Works" it works! Super guy very helpful ask Cheeseberger.
