Dellorto choke jet length

Hello,

Because the Dellorto importer didn't had the choke jet #40 on their part list, I ordered one from the Husaberg dealer as a normal Husaberg part. This choke jet is shorter than the original, #45, and doesn't terminate at the bottom hole of the float bowl but ends about halfway. Which choke jet is correct or are both types okay to use?

no idea what gary is telling you stephen but i'm sure that it's along the lines that you MUST have the original style of choke jet.

The # 40 start (choke) jet I received turned out to be a KTM part # 49031151040 and belongs to a Dellorto VHSB38QS carburetor. I'll contact the dealer and hopefully next time they'll send a PHM40 jet.
