Very "interesting" this... You want to do the mods got get it run better.. You did the slide with same result as me. You wanted to drill thwe bleeds just as me, finding out now that they should actually be made smaller instead.

Your result will be very interesting to see !

Well here is what I have done

I havent ridden it yet, ran out of time today, I will report back tommorow.

I didnt get a chance to ride it yesterday but I rode to work today and I noticed no differance by the seat of my pants or on my a/f meter.

I think I will be taking the slide out to a 50 (unless someone has a 50 they will lend me); this would seem to be my next logical step.

I have gone from about a 2.5mm airbleed to a 1mm with no differance and I had a lot of trouble drilling the 1mm hole.

So far the only thing that has made a noticable differance was the slide.

I took the slide out to a 50 tonight and for the first time since I have had the bike the idle mixture screw does something. Wont know till I ride to work tomorrow but looks it good.

so the main air is back to 1mm when joeusa recommends 1.5mm anyway?

did you say you renewed the atomiser and needle as the doc besg you to do?

regards

Taffy

No the main air bleed has been drilled to 1.5mm and the pilot air bleed has been brought back to 1.0mm as per joeusa's recommendations.

New float, needle and seat, DR272 needle jet/atomiser, K51 needle and gasket/o-ring kit.

And now a 50 slide :turn-l:

It was fantastic on the way in to work today, much better ridability at low throttle positions, I might have to actually raise the neelde 1 notch now as it has a slight flat spot nearing 1/2 throttle, which also shows up on the a/f meter as lean.

Fantastic, It all sounds like should not have stopped trying with the Dellorto... But I like my fcr anyway.
What a/f meter r u using. prize ?? Where to buy ??
