Dello modifications...

I was thinking about having my dello modified by Dale, anyone have any thoughts about this? Can anyone tell me how much of a performance upgrade this was? I have a flat spot in my midrange, and hope that this mod could help. I just happen to have a spare Dello, so if I wasn't happy, I could always go back to stock. Or, would I just be better off to go with a Kehin, or a Mikuni?

Dale worked on mine that was on an 02 400. Hard to attribute what the mod did as far as performance goes because he tuned it on the Dyno during the same "check-up." That being said, my bike left his shop running ten times better

Throttle response was crisp, sensitivity to elevation was lessened, etc... About how you would expect an expertly tuned bike to perfrom.

Later on I had it turned into a 450 and he used the
Mikuni. It has been spot on for about two years now. Much cheaper than the Kehin... what is best I have no idea but I do not feel as if I am giving up anything.

Hope this helps,
John.

Dale´s Dello rework is next on my list.
From what I can gather it´s a really good investment, and a lot less money than a Keihin + Jet Kit.
