I just bought a 1998 501, where can I get decals for this bike? I've looked online but can't seem to find anything.

try this lot for graphics.

blackbird racing

the english version of the site isn't working and in the catalogue i have at home they have a new for 2006 set of graphics that aren't shown but will also fit all the older bikes.

if you don't live in euro you could try and find a retailer who would get them out to you.

IP routes back to Idaho, US, so shipping might be a little prohibitive.

Regardless, it's getting hard enough to find the older gen graphics, to the point that it'd be worth it if you want a set bad enough.

The two links already posted are the only sources I know of older Berg graphics. You could always make some templates and have a set custom made. That's a route that's often taken, due to their scarcity.

thanks,

What are you saying, we here in Idaho still only have the Pony Express? Last time I looked, UPS, FED EX and DHL still knew where Idaho was.

Well, I can't read Italian anyways on Blackbird's site. My computer won't translate it for me. I did fine up until the ordering part where I assume it's asking you for all of your shipping info and stuff. But I couldn't tell where to put your name from where to put your address, plus there were allot more blank spots to fill in after that.

Davester8022,

Something to do with trade agreements, embargos, tariffs, or some other political BS prevents us here in the good old U S of A from being able to directly order the Blackbird decals. If you want a set of them you will have to get in tight with one of the European members and have them order the set for you and then have them ship it over for you. You would have to work out the logistics of the money transfer with the other person via PM or email. There used to be a member on the site a few years ago who offered to help anyone out that was interested in this option but I have not heard from him in a while. Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

try this link. i checked on their site and it looks as if they'll ship to idaho.

off-road only berg graphics

they also do not show the new for '06 graphics but i'm undecided if they are actually nicer than these ones.

re above.
the second paragraph of their terms and conditions deals with orders from north america.

and if worse comes to worse their only 25 miles down the rd from me.

Actually Bubba, what I was hoping the original poster concerning buying from Italy would derive from my post was that it would be more expensive to ship from Europe to US, than in country. I'm very sorry you thought that I implied that your state's mail system is anything less than stellar. It really is great.

Just having a spat of fun, no need to say sorry. Keep up the trash talk about Idaho, the less people the better.

I don't know and haven't talked to him in a while, but you might want to try Peter Hardsteen at HMS Motorsports. In a time long ago and far away, he had some older gen graphic sets. I know he's still got loads of older Berg parts, but I don't know about whether he still has some old graphics. If you're looking for OEM graphics, this would be my only thought.

@Bubba: I really wasn't trash talking your state. I've not been there, so I can't say one way or the other, but I can say that I've received mail from there, and it was in really good condition, so I stand by my statement that your mail system handled my envelope with the best of them.(I was going to use the term "package", but thought that might be misconstrued)

Seriously You have a great state that I take vacations to every year. Too bad I didnt buy property there when I started 10 years ago... Now it is out of my price range.
