I want to put out a positive word for the dealer I bought my Husaberg from. I purchased the bike from CycleBuy in Eugene Oregon four months ago. Bob, who is the owner, dealt with me ovver the phone prior to my purchase of the new FE570S. We handled all paperwork and additional items taht I wanted to purchase by telephone since I live almost six hours driving time from this dealer. Bob sold me the bike at a great price, and gave me a discount on the accesories I wanted to purchase with the bike.

When I went to pick up he new bike, it was waiting with a box full of accessory parts and had no wheels because Bob had agreed to credit me for the stock wheels towards an wheel upgrade I wanted. The new wheels were shipped to my home the following week, and since then, I've continued to order parts and accesories from CycleBuy.

I've had two warranty issues with the bike, one was the headlamp bulb, and the second was the battery. On the headlamp, I've been dissatisfied from the start with the stock Husaberg headlamp. Aaron, a salesperson at CycleBuy has been very helpful. He originally provided me with a higher wattage bulb. That caused a melted headlamp housing, so they agreed to credit me towards the purchase of a aftermarket headlamp unit that I've written about here that did not fit well, then they arranged for the manufacturer to take that unit back, and immediately shipped me a replacement stock headlamp. Yeah, that doesn't solve the problem of the poor lighting, but I don't think I can blame the dealer for the Husaberg's poor light. Other than the headlamp, the Husaberg is absolutely amazing me. I love the bike, and the headlamp is the only downside, and I'm not holding that against CycleBuy, they have been very helpful with trying to work with me on that issue.

The battery on this bike also developed a dead cell. I called Aaron with the voltage readings from the battery tests, and he had a new battery drop shipped to my house in two days.

All in all, the buisness dealings with CycleBuy, Bob and Aaron, have been very pleasant, they have been professional, and they have provided good customer service. They also have a great parts selection, both aftermarket and factory for the Husabergs.

I'm not being paid to place this here. I don't believe CycleBuy will be aware that I placed this here. I just wanted to share my positive experiences with this buisness. Customer service is not what it once was, and when you find it at a buisness, I think it is a good idea to let people know where you found it so that they can have the opportunity to support that buisness too.

Hi Brian,

Actually, a number of dealers and accessory manufactures subscribe to this Forum, KTMTalk, and others. Even KTM subscribes. The responsible dealers and manufactures do respond to correct issues raised in these Forums. Even KTM learns of the issues, but obviously does not fix the issues, otherwise there would have been a recall on the 2009 through 2011 fuel pumps.

Cheers,

Blaine

You know, I can't speak for the manufacturer (KTM/Husaberg), but the dealer that I've been dealing with has treated me well, so I am letting you know. I know the issue with the fuel pumps, but that is more a manufacturer issue than dealer issue. So far, for me, no fuel pump issues at all at 1300 miles on the odometer. I hope I avoid that issue.

CycleBuy is where I got my bike and parts - Bob and the gang are great peeps. Berg parts and accessories I get both from them often.
