well i think it's bad news but it would appear that David Larsson has left Husaberg. an automated reply came through from him saying that he had gone on Holiday but was finishing with Husaberg with effect from July 1st.

He's steered Husaberg in the right direction and now they have a great range of bikes aimed at the right end of the market. Perhaps some of the Swedes here know his full Husaberg history?

while on about strategy/politics: I think it's Boatian or some such that are buying as much KTM as they can get but stefan perer and his partner are hanging on to 51% of the shares still. KTM are back making massive profits after heavy loses last year and they decided to introduce new shares in the company to raise more capital this spring.

this is why KTM are keen to get into the Indian market and help Boatian make bikes in India as I can see. as usual I don't hold the details to hand so don't quote me on every nuance....

Taffy

It is true. He actually resigned months ago, but agreed to stay until July.

Apparently he has gone to work for a mining company in Sweden doing International Sales.

This entire post has a disclaimer regarding that my memory might not be 100% spot on.

Not mining. He sells (and is somewhat involved in R&D) pipelines for under sea usage.

David joined Husaberg in the 90s and has worked with Husaberg for some 18 years if I remember correctly when I last spoke to him.

David still rides 'Bergs but now it's the TE instead of our beloved 4StrokeForce.

I tried to convince a couple of friends that has the right experience/mindset/Berglove to apply for the position that came up but no take.

:( This was the last thing i wanted to read, David is Husaberg,He will be missed by all!!

Take care Rick.

How about the position of Honourary President?

wouldn't have to do anything?

anyone else think that that would be a good idea? we can only ask him?
