Hello!

My name is Dao and I own a dirt bike parts and accessories store based in Melbourne called Dao's Place, and I'm specialising in aftermarket Husaberg and KTM parts and accessories. Please go to http://stores.ebay.com.au/Daos-Place and have a browse through all my stuff!

I'm on a mission to provide all possible parts and accessories for all the late-model Husabergs, and hope to eventually stock everything for every model Husaberg. Have a browse through my store and if there are any brands or specific parts that you think I should stock, feel free to shoot me a message through here, comment on this thread, or ask me through eBay!

Howdy! Oh I totally agree, forums are definitely defined by the conversations they create and problems they solve. The only reason I listed a bunch of stuff that I'm stocking is because the title for this forum section said 'Dealers and vendors are welcome to hock their wares in this forum. This is not to be used as a classifieds system for private sellers. Please use our classifieds system for that'. I joined this forum to gain more information regarding Husabergs, as there is a limited amount of knowledge to be gained from my suppliers regarding what parts and accessories are useful/available/important for Bergs!

I've been a long-time lurker on this forum, I always find more Berg-relevant information here than I ever have on any other forum.

I will be posting in all the forums, I just like to only put my two cents in when deemed necessary!

bushmechanic: no fluffy dice yet, but I'll go on a mission to find some!

Dao, I have been trying to ask you a question via e-bay on your site but the question never opens up and there is no other contact method.

Does the Hyde bash plate for the 450 or 570 also fit the 390?

If you cannot answer me here then pm me and I will send you my e-mail.
 
I have genuine Husaberg parts to flog from my old dealership still sitting in a shipping container at my house, i woud love to sell some of the $30.000 KTM/Husaberg mix i still have but i dont push it on the forum, maybe a link to your site and people can visit if they want to take a look.
Can the UHE give us a spot to display our stuff ???? as i have gear that some people cant get elswhere with part numbers and the money could help pay my debts.
I dont want to open up a UHE homepage thread and have all pictures looking like ebay.
I spend a lot of time in mechanical answering technical questions and the only thing i push is my weephole kit and the mainbearings which has been guided and driven by forum user demands, but it took 4 years to get that respect. Im not saying that i dont take anything away from the site as i offer to do engine rebuilds if a member is in distress and i usually land the job. just recently it been great and i have some happy customers.
Well ive had my 2 bobs worth and i guess you can do what you like within the moderators guide lines, these guys have been good to me but ive earnt my stripes.
Giving access to hard to find parts is a positive but we need to keep the advertising levels in check before it gets annoying and we stray away from what the sites about.

we have no classified section and so we make threads to sell our wares but there's no moderation of this sector and no dialogue either which is even more worrying.

if it comes to 'he had it why can't i?' I think we'll end up with a bun fight.
