Hi guys. my 06 berg has got a big problem with the clutch: the oil circuit can't keep pressure.

I bleeded the clutch twice and it worked for about 2 minutes and than it lost again.

A friend of mine had a spare pump, so we changed the pieces inside the clutch pump (sorry guys, i don't know the english name). after bleeding it, clutch lost pressure again.

the problem must be at the bottom i think...have you got any idea??

The pump as you call it, is called the master cylinder in english speak.

The bottom one is called the slave cylinder.

I take it you bled the system from slave to the master yes?? While you are bleeding the line from the slave to the master, tap on the line to release any bubbles that might be stuck in there to help them move up to the master.

If you have done all that already, you probably need to replace the O ring(s) on the slave cylinder.

oh thanks daleo.

the first bleed i did was by a vacuum machine..it sucked oil from the slave cylinder...at the same time we added magura blood into the master cilinder.

the second bleeding was the opposite. we pished oil into the slave cylinder with a big syringe and remove the leaking oil.

i've read a lot and many people say the problem might be the oring on the slave cyl.. i've tried to open it but the pinion have to be removed.
I have a really well furnished oring retailer in the nearby...if this oring is not expressly made for husaberg i may find it there...but if is a special oring made just for this engine probabily i'll bring my husaberg to a mech

You push the oil up from the slave cylinder and make sure that all bubbles are gone by activating the lever. Then you close the top, then the bottom.

Gravity is your friend and your foe in this process.

If you have no leak and no bubbles, then it should work. If it does not, you can eliminate this as the source of your trouble.

If you are not loosing oil from the master cylinder around where the dust seal is then it will be the O ring on the slave cylinder piston, or the oil is getting past the O rings on the master cylinder piston replace both top and bottom to be sure this should cure the problem.
