this D30 is amazing stuff.
you may need a translator, its not english.
i dont have this stuff to test but did the same test as the video without any protection.
once i am released from the nervous hospital i will post my video.
i sustained many cuts, bruises, concussion, etc.
i think the walls here have this stuff in the padded wallpaper.

several equipment manufacturers are using similar stuff the one that comes to mind is a company called POC, they call their's visco-elastic polymer Dough.

rather interestingly a thick corn starch mix has similar properties, hit it hard and things just bounce off, slowly and you'll sink in.

try it with porridge on the ward
 
Various polymers with thixatropic (sp?) qualities have been around for many years. As cypher mentioned the simplest 'make at home' version is a saturated water/cornstarch solution.
