Hi,

My counter balancer bearing crashed and now also the piston and cylinder shoud be changed.

I found out that the WÃƒÂ¶ssner piston price is reasonable and i'm gona buy it , but does anybody know if there is any other cylinders than originals available for 02 400cc ?

hi mika, i am not sure if there are aftermarket cylinders for your berg but i think you should consider the alternative solution of having your cylinder re- electro plated. i did the same on my fe 600 some months ago, costed about 200euro and the cylinder is good as new.

i also installed a new woesner piston for 201euro (i bought it from a woesner dealer not a husaberg dealer- husaberg sells it for about 290euro). beware of the piston rings because as i found out in many cases woesner provides you with the wrong set of rings. it happened to me with a heavy smoking result. in my case the oil rings groove was 4mm wide while the 2 oil rings + the scrapper ring where 3.5mm.

just be aware to avoid being f..k..d up like me... :wink:

husa98 from germany has got me a woessner piston for my FE400e from 2002. it is a 97mm KTM piston. dale is looking for a head gasket for it.

i will also need to nikasil the linar. i'm going for a long stroke 450.

best price anywhere?

i think it stands at Ã‚Â£100 here in the UK. bid me.
