when you can afford it, that 2001 FE400 ignition module can be upgraded to 2004 501 spec and it makes a big difference!

i sold a few before I really did some miles myself but about 6 months ago I fitted one to my 400 which is tuned and now it pulls wheelies just riding away.

mine will wheelie on power upto 3rd and clutch up in 4th, running 15/48 sprockets, ... but i know it will make a bigger difference with the correct unit on, so its something it will be doing.. list of things will be .
rebuild engine.
do the decomp.
ignition swap
carb swap

then im sure by the time that is done the list will have grown.

I've never been able to pull wheelies just riding off and that is on 13/51 so how you do that on 15/48 I'll never know!

are you sure you aren't leaning back even a tad! LOL!!!

Taffy

yh sure there is some leaning back involved in 3rd but not massive amounts, and more so in 4th ... but just a quick tug on the bars after bouncing the forks slap the throttle back and whalla !
but it really is no effort,

bloody hell!

I've just spent the last hour tidying up this post. what a small world!

oh it is just a document I've done on the design of sidecarX outfits. they are very slow to change their ways IMHO. nobody wants to be made out as 'not with it' and it isn't meant like that. it's a kind of "prompt".

Husaberg engines used to dominate the UK scene just three years ago but now they have all gone back to Zabel bar one team that are pushing on with a 613KTM Fi.

then scroll down and go to 'UK racing scene'
under the pinned section it is about the 5th article (today!)
