I am converting my supermoto to cross (FC) stator+wiring.
i have fitted the MX (FC) stator, and i have a 'normal' SEM CDI

I have a green, black and red wire coming from my stator which go in my green, black and red wire on my CDI.
The other black wire from the CDI is my earth.
I intend to connect only a kill-switch on my wiring loom.

From my CDI i have the following wires 'left'
grey
orange
white

To what wire(s) should i connect my kill-switch?
Thanks

edit:
I have checked the wiring diagrams, but it is not exactly clear to me..

Should i connect 1 cable of my kill switch to the orange wire, and the other one to the earth?

Hi ElSnorro,
black of the CDI is connected to the CHASSIS GROUND; orange of the CDI connected to the black/white of the KILL SWITCH.

When you operate the kill switch it should connect the orange to ground. Check this is OK with a multi-meter at the kill switch. If it does not make a good connection to ground when you press the switch, check the black wire from the kill switch is connected to the chassis ground.

For extra info, look on the next page of the owners manual where it should detail the wiring for the FC and FS (kickstart only) models.

Good luck!

Cheers... Paul

Will it be possible to start my FC without a kill-switch connected?

(sorry i am not good at electrics)
Thanks
