Thanks to UHE for posting tech info about the breather. Sure enough, I got my 'Berg upside down on a hill, running, and choked down enough oil to foul the plug.
Reading the tech reports told me what the problem was and how to fix it but not "what filter to use on the end of the tube"??

Can you suggest a suitable filter to keep dirt from entering the tube. I plan to put it up behind the radiator as suggested. :D

Thanks, Dave501

What you need is a free flowing one. Some use uni-filters that you stick in the end of the hose.I use a breather filter for a auto (Purolator B13131) also if you have some spare filter foam you can make one out of it.There are serveral ways you can do this.Hope this helps.

Thanks Bill,

I'm checking the other threads re: crankcase venting as well but think this will solve my problem just fine.
