Hi I have been using a oem 48 tooth rear wheel sprocket on 2008 berg. I noticed cracks in it today from middle of a tooth down. By the time I got back to trailer another crack about 1/3 of the way around the sprocket had appeared. The second crack may have been caused by the flex from the first crack...who knows. Has anyone else had this experience. Sprocket has 3,500 km on it, but still life good in the teeth: would not be replacing now if not for cracks. Chain was not over tight either. Have not experienced this before?
