Cooling with tank panniers

2001 fe650 with a Clarke tank. I have a set of wolf man tank panniers to go on and it seems like they will block the holes on the sides of the tank. I'm wondering how much this will affect cooling. It's going to be used for dual sport rides, not single track. Ido I need worry about cooling?
