coolant leak after fan installed

Hi,

Just finished having my fan installed .
I tested it by letting the bike run for a few minutes and the fan itself works great but I noticed there is a lose of coolant through the over flow hose. my mechanic says it's normal but I don't recall ever having that happening to me before.

Any advice? is that normal? any thing I should check into?

How high is the coolant level in the rad reservoir? If the level is more than a half inch over the rad core, the excess coolant will squirt out through the overflow tube as the engine warms up. The best solution is to add a coolant recovery system.
