Don't know if that is the case, they do sell other makes.... I was just contemplating today, when the time comes to get a new ride, I may have to switch brands just to keep them as my dealer..... husky here i come..... 8O

has Dan ever confirmed to anyone what the status of his husaberg dealership is?

CONGRATULATION DAN AND ANN! this is tough market to stay alive in.
 
I would switch back to Husky to buy at MotoXotica. SO whats the deal? did they get their Husaberg dealership re-instated for 2009?
 
that is customer devotion ...ready to switch brands to hold on to brilliant MOTOXOTICA sales and service . that is unheard of in my experience as a victim of [ st ] dealers .
 
Dan is a great guy and a pretty damn fast rider. :twisted: I was looking to switch to Husky myself if Husaberg didn't support him! 8O
 
Hi, not wanting to gate crash here...
Had to comment though.
I don't know if it is because the mail is goetting lost or something else?
I have sent two or three e-mails and have not had even 1 reply...
I am from New Zealand and have founf that getting service and parts to be a little lacking etc.
I did get wonderful service from 'The Boss'. Incredible in fact although I still have yet to receive the fuel tank....Been only two days though...lol
I would be pleased to be corrected though as the comments overall have been great. Where am I going wrong? wrong e-mail or something? Thanks guys...

Gday Mark. I kind of found the same thing initially when dealing with them - struggling to get a response from my emails. I then followed up with a phone call. I think the gist of the situation was, as they were no longer an official Berg dealer, they were no longer able to get spare parts (this may have changed now?) and hence maybe a little slow on responses to international customers – which I understand.

Anyhow, after this initial hurdle I found their response and willingness to help me out fantastic (even to the point of sorting me out with a 2nd piston for my rebuild with only a few hours on it – at a brilliant price). Stuff was sent out to me very promptly without inflated shipping costs. I had just as great service from Boss as well (I needed to use 2 stores to keep under the AU$1000 import duty threshold). These 2 guys I would definitely use again and recommend to overseas customers.

Have you tried Nigel Bevin at Husaberg motosport in Taupo? I have had brilliant service and support through nigel and most parts are off the shelf.
