Sounds like good advice and I might follow that and save some money. I grew up tuning 2-strokes and I find myself a bit crippled on 4 stroke heads. I guess it's not as much rocket science as I first believed, but there is a big practical difference in machining/change valve seats compared to grind channels.
I will have a look at the general finish and see what the Chezhs did to the head (earlier owners), and if not done I might have someone to help me install bigger inlet valves as I know that there is one restriction in an overall good chain. Or I save that to the future too... Just like my custom exhaust. So much I want to do, so little time....
