hi guys, last week i heard a clicking noise coming out of the engine..
then i noticed that my left exhaust was unscrewed so what a relief i said and screwed it to make it stop
it didnt stop so to prevent any further damage i split it to find out the problem. turns out that con rod went off- you can grab the piston by hand and play with it like a car gearbox selector
any way i would like some tips for this rebuild.
cylinder + piston are new (1000km on them),top end (valves + cam) the same.
i recently rebuilded the whole thing except the rod
should i prefer original husaberg rod or any aftermarket, which is better?
should i change anything else ? (main bearings will be changed of course)
how many hours of life a rod is expected to have on a well maintenanced
husaberg from your experience?
oh yeah, the bike is a pre pump fe600
